Dang, that still looks good, I might see what the tint shop thinks. Would be nice to not have to worry about a ticket.

Stock tint on the rear, 15% on the sides (Looks like it matches the rear) and a 15% strip across the top of the windshield (about 8"). Got stopped at a roadblock and a GSP made me roll my windows up. Tested them and they were 12%. $100 ticket. yay! Went the next day and got a $2 scratch off lotto ticket and won $100, so I paid the ticket with that.

old pic, but you get the idea.

My tint is considered illegal according to CA law.

5% rear, 20% front, and 20% sun strip on the windshield. I haven't been pulled over yet. :D

Sorry to revive an older thread, but thought I would post up a picture of my tint to help others that are looking. I went 25% up front and 35% in the back. In the bright sun you can notice a little difference like in the picture, and a little more at night. It seems like a good level that the LEO won't bother you, yet still having a nice dark look. I can't tell the difference between front and back from the inside. Also, I don't feel like I have lost any vision at night. I recommend this to anyone wanting to get a nice tint look without giving up visibility and safety and staying a little closer to legal limits.
