I have a 2011 doube cab and I am toying with the idea of tossing a sub into the mix. I have always had horrible experiences dealign with interiors... That said- the rear panels behind the back seats- the driver's side specifically- is it really just the 3 bolts holding that panel in? I looked all over and just saw the 3 bolts- but that panel seems to be FIRMLY in there. I don't want to get all pi$$y trying to find more fasteners if there aren't any- but I also dont want to pull on the panel thinking it is just held in with remaining panel clips and break something. Any info you can toss my way would be GREATLY appreciated! :D

3 bolts and some friction clips. Need to pry the left and right side off the clips. It does take some effort. First time I tried it, like you, I stopped as I wasn't sure. Just used some additional effort and off it came.

Do you have to remove the upper half of the rear seat ro get the panels out or can you do it with the seats still installed? Sorry- ate up with lazy today...
