I have a 07 access cad, 4 cylinder. It has 160k on it and still going.

    Issues/repairs

    Replaced brake pads 55k
    Replaced universal joint 70
    AC blower is going soon
    1 bulb out in dashboard

Thats all. I love this truck. Will get another when i get to 250k. Anybody who has more mileage?

I hope mine will last that long. Ive had my truck for about 4 months and only have 4000 miles on it. At this rate by the time I get to 150,000 we will all be driving spaceships like the jetsons. But seriously glad to hear our 4 bangers still running strong with those miles ;)

I think that how all Toyota's should be, nearly repair-free.

Quick questions: did you grease your universal joints per maintenance schedule? Also, which light in your dash is out?

Good God where do you drive every year where you're putting 45,000 miles on it per annum? You need a tour bus!

227,000 miles on a 2006, assuming five years use (real rough estimate, I know), that means 45,500 miles per year. Assuming driving from Boston to San Francisco one-way is 3,130 miles, that means you can go to-and-from 14 and a half times. Geez!

Hahaha... My work needs for me to be everywhere in jersey... Hahaha

I did not lubricate the joint. It just started to vibrate at a certain speed. Light bulb in the ac fan switch is out. No complains. I will get another tacoma.

Toyota engines are near bullet proof, I would get rid of it at 150k, I would keep on driving it. You will get 400k no prob.
My uncle works at a dealer and one of their customers has over 400k close to 500k on his 90's model and he has had no problems.
    Bullet proof, I tell u!
