locker anytime on 2wd?

    any one know if you can do the locker anytime mod on a 2wd tacoma i hate how you have to be under 5mph

    Wait you're a prerunner, I thought the locker doesn't have a speed limit?

    If you mean engaging the locker at over 5 mph, domt do it. You will grenade the rear end.

    you have to be under 5 to engage it gets anowing

    Once mine is engaged I usually leave it engaged. Better have it on then get stuck with it off

    ok yea well my locker has been having problems and i thought that might fix it cus it seems like it thinks its going to fast to engage. i will be parked and push the button and the diff light and abs come on but it dusn't engage

    Yea smart but I just want mine to work again I've tryed every thing with the engaging it and turning I just need to hitt up all the conections with my metor and find the broblem because sunthing must not be geting power

    Confused . . . if I'm doing the locker anytime mod and I'm keeping the violet/white wire intact for the vehicle speed sense to the 4wd ECU, why is a switch needed? Does the relay I'd be adding for the mod bypass the vehicle speed sense and engage the locker regardless of vehicle speed? If so, then I can understand why you added a switch. Thanks for your reply.

    so in order to be able to engage the locker in 2hi and 4hi not just 4lo all you do still is cut the violet/white wire?
