Sound woofer

    front/rear detachable winch, custom sound 4 inch lift, 265/75 tires camper shell color match
    anyone know to remove the speaker and woofer set from the back of a 2009 tacoma, came from factory and it seems that most trucks don't have this item , dealer says it takes three hours to get it out ????????:eek: it takes up the third postion in the back seat

    no way it takes 3 hours, it is a few minutes to remove the plastic covers and looks like a few bolts.

    It is not hard to get out. I think the instructions are in the Toyota XM install instructions.

    I had never seen a Toyota custom sound system before, did n't even know they made one. Not wanting to damage it for future use , its fancy chrome finish and built in lights, I took it to the Superstition Toyota dealer. After reading the posting I decided to take it to a second dealer this one in Tempe, AZ :) and the tech took one look and popped off the cover where four bolts held it in place, took about a two minutes. The woofer has its own amp, lights and control switch.. The killer- the first dealer called to ask how I liked the service.

    Does anyone have a good bracket with locking to hold the Hi-Lift to the rail.
