Electric Fan Kit???

    K&N intake, flowmaster exhaust, 55w HIDs, De-badged, Ininity Kappa all around w/2 1062 10" infinity subwoofers, and dvd player head unit.

    cons?
    has anyone done it?
    Is it worth the money? ($350)

    i've read where someone did it, I'm sure a google will find it again. His install was really slick, using the existing fan shroud to get good flow through the radiator, and he put a little fan on the tranny oil cooler too.

    pro's are: no belt driven fan drag on the engine (better MPG?) or loud roaring as you idle around at low speed and after start up.

    con's: may not be reliable as OEM; poor installs don't get all the radiator included in airflow so it overheats at low speed and getting wet: when fording deep water the fan will sling water all over the engine compartment. a manual cut-off in the cab will fix that.
