    Does anyone else have rust on the harness plug area that's to the left of the tow hitch? It's really annoying and looks bad like that. Ughhh I hate rust. I'll post pic up tomorrow.

    Thinking of adding a second battery...
    I was stationed in Germany for the past 3 years. Got my 2007 Taco while there. Within a year and after the first winter there, I had more rust that I could imagine. Very common now with these trucks.

    Tacoma, WA has some similarities to Germany when it comes to the weather.

    Yeah, mine had rust there too when I got it brand new from the dealer. They agreed to touch that up though.

    Paint it, why not. Wire brush it until the rust is gone then throw some paint on there.
