I've searched for hours, and there are many posts about the inner fender, but none specifically addressing the fender liner screw grommets.

This may be an incorrect name, as there are some grommets that take a flat head and a 90 degree turn. I've got these out already.

The ones I want to know about are the grommets with the hole in the center.

    Thanks in advance.

That hole is deep! Snowing here now, and I put the truck in my tight garage for the night, I'll post here if it works. Thanks for trying even if it doesn't work. I may end up drilling them out..

This is a few years old, so hopefully by now someone found a good way to remove these little bastards. I still need to know.

Not sure exactly what you are talking about but if its what I am thinking of, once you pull the center part out the outer part simply pops out.

These are the worst ones. Take a small flathead, pry inwards on one side of the tangs, pull downward on that side, hold that side down while you do the same to the otherside, it will require some coercion, but it will come out.

You will curse like a sailor trying to pull them out, just know that.

Thanks everyone. I pulled two out, took about an hour and like you said, lots of cursing. i said fuck it and just pulled the flare off. Broke most of the blue and orange clips, but luckily I have some replacements.
