Speedway Blue Going Away?

While I don't have a Speedway Blue Tacoma, it is probably one of the colors that I like best. Recently, I have noticed that I rarely see a new Speedway Blue Tacoma on dealer lots. My job requires a lot of driving around the Dallas/Ft. Worth and surrounding areas and I might drive by 7 or 8 dealerships per day. I have seen only one or two new Speedway Blue Tacoma's at dealerships since the introduction of the 2011's. I know colors come and go. I was wondering if the Speedway Blue color has run it's course and is at it's end.

 

The dealer couldnt find me a speedway blue anywhere in the contry so he had to orderone. took 3 months.

 

God I hope so.....

 

x2 i only have one bc it was a good price i really wanted white. it has grown on me though, i like it now but will buy a different color when the time comes for a new truck

If they discontinue it, I hope they come up with another color that's just as cool. Like THIS:


In another 5 or 6 years...I'll be ready for another tacoma and I'd love to have that color next!!

 

you don't see them cause they get snatched up as soon as they hit the lot!

 

I love my speedway blue Taco. Well the ladies love it, so I love that the ladies love it And it looks fuckin bad ass when only blue and black. I would only want them to stop producing that color in order to make mine more special

 

Bingo!!! Everybody has white, silver and black. How boring is that!? I'm not the biggest fan of the red or timberland micah but, at least it not the same old same old!

 

When I bought mine, I asked the dealer "What do they call this? You're going to have me forever blue?"

I love my SWB. So does everyone that sees it. My local dealer has only sold one other one in this color, and mine had to be brought in from out of state. It was definitely my first color choice. Not that I don't like it others, I just love blue, and it's different than most Tacomas I've seen on the roads around here.

 

I stopped by the Toyota dealer last weekend to get the computer flashed. I had my girlfriend with me, I saw a 2011 SWB DC LB. I asked her what does she think about that color and if I traded my truck for it. She said it was a girly color, and that I'd be gay to get it.
