Yeah no kidding, I paid 6 I think at autozone.

Who is selling it for 60?! That must be a mistake. Wd40 works too, I just think pb blaster works better.

The SKU (BLP16-PB) listed on the Advance Auto webpage is for a case of them
They just didn't list it as a case on the website, that is why it's so expensive

I don't know what bolts you're talking about, but you can use pb blaster on any stuck bolts. Just get it soaked really good and let it set for a while, at least an hour or two.

Ohhhh, you mean the skid plate! I really had no idea what you meant.

Yeah, it's just the 4 bolts.

Performed the fluid change on the front diff and the transfer case. Just used mobile 1 LS. All went well, replaced the crush washers as well...figured it couldn't hurt at $1.25 each.
Only problem was I wasn't expecting the front diff to be like peter north when I opened the drain plug...damn near shot to the front drivers side tire. Thanks for the write up and all the pics and part numbers. Now on to do the wifeys Envoy in a few weeks.

Just curious - how old are you  Peter North was a porn star in the 60's if I remember correctly and I'm old enough to remember correctly:D

man I don't even know how u guys get down there... it so tight for me... Im a small bastard too, i guess I need to spray that PB Blaster into those bolts and see what happens, but the bolt that goes in the front differential its all rusted up BIG time... PB can take on this case? Man, I sure can use that Lift in a Garage place!

My front diff bolts were rusted too. The 10 mm hex did not want to go in at first but pounded it in. It seems tight but its more than workable.

I forgot to mention my transfer case oil was real clean but the front diff was very dark. That is the first change for both at 75K and its an 05.

i think i'm going to soak it with KROIL and see if I can loosen them bolts up a bit. Its hard for me to get to the 10mm Hex when there's a plate under block my way

Yes, I soaked mine several times (3-4 times) the week before I did this project. I also don't have the front skid plate.

Putting LSD Oil (not the additive, just the oil) in the Diff and Transfer Case shouldn't hurt right?
