    The midsize pickup is dying, but the Toyota Tacoma continues as the best of the breed. If you don't need to do serious hauling, it's a better choice than a full-sizepickup due to its manageable size and affordable price. Four-cylinder versions also offer better fuel economy, and all Tacomas continue to hold strong resale values.
