Has anyone tried painting the hood scoop red behind the black mesh? Wondering if it would look good on my silver taco.

What Head unit is that? It wouldn't happen to be one of those Android China-riffic ones would it? I know that is a super old post, but I'm seriously considering buying one.

    I added a bolt once...

It is darker...I owned a 2006 silver streak.
This new color, Silver Sky, gets really dark at dusk...a real smoky dark silver, almost grey.

I like it better than my other color...but then again, for $31k I better:D

I need 2 more doors, I should trade mine in. But I'd be giving up the LSD and lack of useless traction control.

Thanks man! I love my truck!
Now i just need to figure out which wheels I want and I think I am finished with it for a while. Its my DD so I don't want alot done to it. Any suggestions on wheels? I've looked for a while and just haven't seen any that really excite me much.

Your truck is pretty cool man. I just went and checked out the build thread. I like what you have done with it.

Thanks, they are 265/75/16. The front has drooped since I put the bumper on. Putting toytec springs on it next week to level it again.

    Thanks.
I can't really help with wheels. I like a plain ol small steely. I only went with what I have because it was the only thing I could get to fit over my spindle in a short period of time.

Start small get comfortable with it and do the research.

'Tis the season..... Taken just this evening before unloading. My 2014 SR5 V6 6sp. This was the first time performing truck duties. 2 tons of pellets, roughly 2/3 ton in the bed and 1.3 on the trailer. It squats more than I expected and was slightly over capacity in the bed, but it took it like a champ anyway. The pictures make it look not so bad, but from where I was standing I was looking down at the truck.
