Just took my pinstripes off, took me about ten minutes. I started off using a hair dryer but then decided to try it without using it. They came right off, no problem at all. Unfortunately the dealer sticker on the back was a bit more of a pain.

Once I finished I just washed it and gave it a good coat of wax so now you can't tell they were ever even on it. It looks much better in my opinion.

Just get some goof off or goo gone to remove the adhesive. It'll wipe right off.

I don't know about that... I've used it to remove paint off of furniture and baseboard trim that had clear coat on it, and it didn't take off the clear coat. Maybe it's different on automotive clear coat? I just used some goof off last night to clean off the adhesive from my TRD stickers and badges with no problems.

Well I decided what the hell and tried some automotive goo-gone. Didn't work at all. Used a claybar... took it right off without even breaking a sweat. Through some wax on where they were at (don't have time for the whole truck)... good to go until I can finish doing the entire truck's paint now (needs a quick buff and polish due to hardwater). But for now, I gotta go off to vegas to go to a wedding (not mine, and not a normal 'cheap' vegas wedding mind you).

Just curious...I think my husband uses the same fomatting for his vinyl.
I know you sent me some graphics of stickers, which were GREAT!
I was thinking (when or if ) I get some time - find & manipulate the stock TRD graphic to fit on the hood scoop. Could I send it to you to look at it (someday)?

With it being so small and multiple colors - vinyl just isn't the way to go.

    Its a bicycle.
i wouldnt go for them, but if they came that way I'd leave them on till they get gross.

that being said. i took the blood red and hunter green 8 inch circular "sahara" logos off the side of my jeep.

somehow those two colors and gold just dont mix!

I like em. They add a bit of flare. I'm sure plenty of people will hate me for saying this but IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, STRAIGHT BLACK SUCKS :lalala:

Pin stripes went out with the 80's. I think removing it will give the truck a much cleaner look.

I'll probably take mine off as well as the TRD Sport decals off the rear fenders. If I don't get around to it for another few weeks I'm not going to lose any sleep over it!

Don't know if this was posted, but if you want to take off vinyl you can use a heat gun or blow dryer. Heat a small section at a time. And do not overheat the paint- it will bubble. As you heat the vinyl you can use your finger nail to remove it. Although be careful as not to scratch your paint. Also you can use some glue remover to remove the excess glue from the truck. If you don't take the glue off, dirt will stick to it.

If anyone needs help with it PM me.
