Should I debadge?

Sup all, I have been putting some time on my truck lately and I think I almost got her how I want. But i been have debating weather or not to debadge. Or maybe black out them all out. Any opinions would be very helpful

I've been on the fence with that too... but being as mine's an sr5 with all the chrome I'm leaning toward keeping them. That being said, as you're going all blacked out... I'd lean toward debadge or blacking them out. Possibly even something diff and maybe red them out? Truck's looking real sharp, love it. Only other suggestion I'd have is maybe the BHLM.

 

the BHLM will make a huge difference if you debadge your truck, i didn't use it but i did replace the entire headlight assembly with something similar. i'd recomend debadging and the BHLM.

 

^ I agree with the above about the BHLM, would look great on your truck. i debadged mine and love it.
However if you painted your badges red that would be different.

 

I'd go for debadged and BHLM if it was mine...but the idea about the red would be interesting...

My personal opinion is that debadged looks kinda silly, but I like the sound of the red badges.

 

def debadge, especially if you're blacking everything out. it'll look real stealth.

You'll like the clean look. Everyone already knows it's a Toy Taco.

The debage allows clean areas of sheet metal and are easy to wax and show the paint, w/o inturruption of badges and decals.

 

BHLM and red badges sound real cool on that color. Not so many on the tailgate though, lose some of them. Burnt Orange badges would look even better! The timing is right, Halloween is right around the corner and you would have a "Halloween" Tacoma.

thanks for all the input. I have definitely also been looking to do the BHLM and a set of eyelids after this and from the sound of it seems like that's the right thing to do.

No. Do not debadge. If anything, paint them black, and put them back on.
