I ordered a set of front seat covers from Wet Okole, back in February and added the center console cover to it. When I got it out, I realized that it's made like a shower cap (obviously not the shape of the center console). When I tried to put it on there, it would not wrap around all corners and stay on.

I called them and told them about it. All he could do is send me another one. He said that's the only template they have for it. Well, of course, the 2nd one is just like the 1st one.

I've seen only a couple other people ask how they kept theirs on and they said they used super glue....

Any other people had this problem? What did you do to get it to stay on?

On a side note....the install guy from Wet Okole (Stephen) said he would talk to someone about designing a new one.

I'm going to see how/if it fits on the back console cover first.

I've had no issues with mine. It is shaped kinda funny, but it overall is in a rectangle shape.

Really? Mine is perfectly round. Just like a shower cap. Looks like something I would use as a steering wheel cover, if it was bigger.

Care to take it off and snap a pic??

Of the console cover....that is. :D

I'll try and get one tonight.

Maybe it's not perfectly rectangle.. But when stretched out it forms around my console nicely.

I agree it's not the greatest fit in the world and it's come off maybe 2-3 times in the 5 months I've had Okoles.

Hmmm? Mine looked like that when I got it and wondered about it before putting it on. IIRC, it had a coupla straps that went accross the underside of the lid after getting it in place & I had to tuck it around the release button a bit for that to be accessible but it has never moved. Does OP cover have 2 stretchy straps or just scrunchy part around the edges? Have had my set over 2 yrs now. None of my covers have moved any since installation.

I saw a picture of one a while back that had a strap on it. But when I spoke with the install dude he said that wasn't standard. All mine has is the elastic around the edges.

I don't understand that response from WO. They should be made the same way. A strap that keeps it in place sounds like a standard thing to me. Why would something that makes something work as intended be an upgrade? Truck at home today but can take pics of mine with the strap(s) that you can use to send to them if necessary.........or maybe some velcro under the lid instead of a strap could work?

Thanks....Pics always help. I'm not sure if I can stretch it around for the velcro to hold it. It's like try to put a fitted sheet on a pillow top bed! When you try to pull one corner over, another corner comes loose! :notsure:

Mine fits ok, but it covers the latch a bit...so not perfect,
    it hasn't come off though.

Can't remember if was just elastic around or some strap underneath...
drove the car today, i'll check when i get home.

Edit: I haven't seen how the wet okole mounts but i would assume you have to take your cover apart, wrap it and then re-assemble it. have you tried that?

I like that....but their site only has a few vehicles to choose from. Toyota not being one of them. I like those arm rests too! Same place? Looks like you need to update your build page. :)

EDIT: No, I haven't tried taking the cover apart. Might try that next. Thanks.

Mine while being a little awkward shaped fit fine. No straps or anything. It hasn't ever come of. Took a little adjusting but it's fine. It does cover the latch/opening button sorta but it hasn't been a problem. If I remember I can take a closer pic of it open tomorrow.

Thanks for the help and photos, folks! I was finally able to get the console cover on (after removing the top).
