A new TSB (suspension) question - why would Toyota want to inspect it?

So I dropped my truck off at the dealership on Friday, they gave me a loaner Corolla, and I went on my way with "Should be done this afternoon". I called at about 4:30 (dropped it off at 9) and got "It is a bit more involved than we originally thought, possibly have it ready on Saturday, probably on Monday."

So I didnt worry about it, drove the Corolla, and called them today about 1:30. I got "The rear is done, the tech is setting up the alignment now. But we got a notice from Toyota that they wanted to inspect the truck before it was turned over to you, so we have to wait for that. We got the notice today, and they normally inspect it within 24 hours, so probably tomorrow, or Wednesday".

Anyone ever heard of this, know what is going on, any ideas?

    A bit of background:

Bought on Feb. 21, 39K miles. Took it in just under 42K miles.
    Have the platinum extended warranty
Aftermarket radio (had one in it when I bought it, replaced with a double DIN)
Aftermarket wheels - ProComp 7031 wheels, stock tires (16")

IDK Never heard of that. Maybe they just want to check their own technicians' work? I mean, if it's already on there, there shouldn't be a worry of having it taken off.
(This advice is literally worth $.02)

Heh, you got the tech in training for your money-losing work.

Inspect it yourself right thorough when you get it back.

stopped by to get my security badge and some other things out of the truck, and they gave it to me today.

I have no way of knowing who was working on it, but I met the guy who was supposed to do the work when I dropped off the truck, and everything looks good when I looked it over.
