    Please read what? When I go up a hill in drive it jumps up to 3500 rpm, if I shift it into 3 or 4 and go up I can keep it under 3k.

    I keep my auto in D unless going down a mountain, then I'll limit the gear so as to not ride the brakes and burn them out.

    I think he may have been referring to THE manual...as in operators manual. I might be wrong though...

    I select any gear I want with my auto tranny too .

    Contrary to what some people with auto tranny seem to believe , it's OK to shift the tranny .

    D , 4 , 3 , 2 , L , whatever the condition calls for , this whole you gotta leave it in D all the time mentality is retarded .

    but i have one more gear!!! OoOoOoOoOo lol jk i know you can, but most people don't know wtf the extra numbers are for lol. I love my manual but i wish i got the auto for the better mpg's.

    I wonder why they have the D and L instead of 5 and 1???
