    I don't know about yours but mine is pretty stiff!!! :laugh:

    I think it is a little thicker than the stock one and I believe that the powder coating helps add rigidity.

    I ordered mine from these folks and was amazed how fast I got it! I got the 14" black antenna and it looks great. Really simple to put on too. :D

    So much hype about a short antenna. What would happen if I went out and purchased a 4ft antenna. I'd be a member of the long antenna club. You know what they say about guys with long antennas? :)

    It's not that we're trying to start a new trend or anything. Some of us just need a shorter antenna due to parking in garages, etc. and don't want to keep bending the original one.

    Got mine at Pep Boys for around $10. About 8 inches long and came with multiple adapters. Reception is just as good as stock (same reception out in the boonies as I had with stock)...

    this was the exact one that i originally got as well, but a tree limb ripped it apart while on a trail. I ended up picking on up from shortyantennasource.com and haven't had any issues with it falling apart on me yet lol
