Getting weather-stripping sticky again?

    I just picked up a new (to me) tonneau cover for my truck and it came with a thick rubber molding piece that goes along the front of the bed to keep water out. The issue that I have is that this weatherstripping is no longer sticky and will not stay down. The other issue is that it is custom made for this cover and is very thick, something I can't just run down to the store and pick up more of... Any ideas?

    Rubber cement or some other form of epoxy. Check out hardware stores, they make some pretty thick weatherstripping to go around A/C units.

    Im going to have to check exactly what it attaches to, whether that be the cover or the pickup. I am under the impression that it sticks to the truck bed... I don't think I want contact cement on the bed of the truck lol. I will look at what exactly this attaches to. And raswank, I am positive that this is for the front of the cover, towards th cab.
