Thanks to TW I was able to fix these codes, if you have these codes come up at the same time and your truck isnt running right chances are your air fuel relay is bad and needs to be swapped out cost is 25 bucks

Since i got my Doug Thorley shorty headers installed i got the p0430 code.
Howd you fix your p0430?ive already had disconnected my battery overnight and tightened the gas cap. ive had 2 different mechanics look for an air leak, there isnt an air leak. My tacoma has 84,780 miles,so i hope its not the cat. Any suggestions would help! Thanks in advance

Yeah a quick test is to pull your fog relay and switch it with your air fuel heater relay because they are the same, if it works great if not check the sensor in front of the cats or check for a leak. When did it throw the code? how many miles after you installed your headers?

Yesterday my truck threw 5 codes:

    P0031
    P0037
    P0051
    P0057
    P0102

Swapped out the fog relay with the A/F heater rely and all codes cleared.

Thanks OP for this thread!! +1 rep to you my friend

I just got the P0031 and P0051 codes and I realized my heater was only working on HI. I figured it was a fuse or relay so I started putzing around with fuses and relays, and then the next morning my CEL and traction controls off light came on.
After reading some forums it does seem like it's still a relay issue. But it's weird that it's such a common issue. Also my trucks fuse box is set up differently in that the fog relay and heater relay are not the same. Instead , the dimmer switch and heater relay are the only similar relays. Hopefully tomorrow I can swap them and have that fix the issue. But just curious if anymore research has surfaced with this issue pointing out a different culprit

I’m also battling this issue. Tried swapping the relays and it hasn’t seemed to work for me. Getting desperate I went ahead and did all 4 02 sensors as well (they were original so why not). Any other ideas why this might be happening? Is there a chassis ground somewhere ?
