More mileage = Better gas mileage

    Well got 17K on the odometer and the mpgs are going up. Was averaging around 22.5 mpg since I bought the truck brand new. Filled up today and now I am up to 24 mpg. No different in my driving back and forth to work. 70 mph most of the way with the cruise set. Haven't even switched to synthetic oil in the motor or rear end yet. Hope it gets better when that happens.

    yeah i started to get gas mileage around 25mpgs in my 4x4 4cyl around 15k miles

    I looking forward to that. Only 1500 mile on my new 4x4 4 cylinder at the moment. Back roads and hills get me around 19 mpg

    I like it. Mine has been getting better, only about 8,000 now and I do not know if switch to summer gas is in yet.

    Wow.....Im at 14K, getting 17-18mpg, mostly highway. But, then again I guess thats what you get for running 285's and an S/C

    Because our sixth gear is almost the same as 4th on most truck sticks.

    It'll get 20+ reliably with the right mods, speeds, and driver skill. The last time I got under 20 mpg was ten months ago, my Jan 24th fillup.
