My bed lights and fuse block

Here's a few pics of my bed light install. I used the wally world tractor lights because I liked the way they looked mounted into the bed cubby. Its also nice that they are $10 each.





Before I put the lights in, I ran a length of 10ga. wire to the drivers side bed compartment and installed a weather resistant fuse block back there. I mounted a small fuse block in one of these cool weather tight boxes we have at my work. I also got the switch from my work... its a 3 position... off/1 light/2 lights. I really like how it all came together.

Here is a short vid of the lights in action, I feel there plenty bright. They are spot beam pattern and you can kinda tell by the vid... they are focused on the opposite wheel well. Everything gets lit up just fine though.

Nice set up! This was the first thing i did, i used back up lights from pep boys... cheap and wide angle... 35watts was pleanty bright

I really want to get a fuse block right now cuz i've got so much stuff hooked up to my battery leads that I'm embarassed to drop it off at Toyota if it needs some service that i can't do...

 

thanks guys... I ended up needing them the first night I installed the lights. This is a great mod. I was able to do it like the others here... for about $23. I get all my wire and stuff for free from work. Believe it or not... John Deere charges $48 for that light switch...lol.
