I just bought my 1st Tacoma, 2011 dbl cab prerunner SR5 2 days ago.
I have purchased the Top Gun Customz 3" Suspension Lift Kit w/ Bilstein 5100 Rear Shocks, and the TRD FJ 6 spoke wheels 16" x 7.5" with a 4.5" back space.
I am now looking to buy tires and need help. I have seen some with 285/75/16's, 265/75/16's, and some with 255/80/16's.
As everyone else here I am looking to squeez the biggest tire I can under this truck with out any major cutting or welding issues.
I want to put 33" under it, but need to know the tire size that will fit and a good place to order them. Any help would be great, Thanks again!

You can put 33" tires on your truck with a 3" lift. I am pretty sure you will not rub.

    A few bolts are different.
With the 3" lift and the FJ wheels 285's fit perfectly with very minimal trimming.

Im running the 285/75/16 with those rims. Only have a very slight rub when Im backing out of the driveway with the wheel turned. I haven't trimmed the mud flaps.
