Smaller sun visor?

The driver side visor (same size as passenger side visor) is pointless....

2009 double cab, long bed, 4.0, TRD

I'm only 5ft 11in tall

When I put the visor down, it substantially blocks my view

Have searched TRD parts thinking there is a smaller one for off road or racing....but no luck

Any suggestions?

Nah, I know what he's saying, it hangs down too far even when pushed all the against the windshield. I'm short and it bothers me but not enough to want to do something about it.

 

I just don't use mine. I feel like my seat sits too high personally. I like being lower and being able to see higher as opposed to having my head touching the ceiling and seeing 100% of my hood.

Ya. I think it was designed for short people. Even at 5'8" it blocks my view. Probably the stupidest design element on the truck.

 

Doesn't work that way. I'm about the same height, and pushed right against the windshield it still sits a bit lower than is comfortable.

 

^this. Maybe try a heavy tinted strip along the top of the windsheild and invest in a good set of sun glasses?

Personally I deal with it but I absolutely hate even the passenger visor being down. im constantly adjusting it to be out of my way and just barely enough to cover the sun.

Well, this and the mirror................throw a slightly taller tint strip on the top portion of windshield.....also invest in shades. I know those 2 have been mentioned already, but I completely agree with the method and use it myself.

Then buy the rearview mirror relocation bracket.....get all that sh_t outta ur way

 

I'm 6'2" and it doesnt block my view. A good set of shades and you wont need a visor.
