Well I'm not going to paint the whole thing, I just want to paint the white 4x4 letters with chrome spray paint. I've never used chrome spray paint before, is there anything special I should do for painting chrome on plastic? This is my plan. I just want to make sure I'm doing it right before I start.

    1)Tape everything I don't want painted.
2)Sand down everything I want to paint.
    3)2 coats primer.
    4)2 coats chrome paint.
    5)2 coats clear spray.
    6)Remove tape.

If you're going the paint route use a plastic adhesion promoter first. But I would just clean them really well and apply vinyl to it if I were doing it.
