A/C Condenser fan

My Taco A/C just doesn't cool very well when still or moving slowly. Being that the airflow though the condenser is directly related to the engine RPMs, I'm thinking about adding a condenser cooling fan. Any recommedations?

Some people have converted to a full electric fan.

Someone in another forum suggested I check the freon level - is there a site window on these systems, or do I need to depend on pressures?

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

Yep. Don't guess it, don't put too much in either. You may damage your unit in the long run. I wouldn't do the fan thing. Imo

Its most likely the lack of fan speed. Convert to an electric fan setup. Pretty easy. I did it using a 16" puller fan and a honda thermo fan switch I had lying around with an override switch inside for the a/c on hot days.
