Except it would be a cheap way for the OP to see if he likes the look that is 100% reversible... If he doesn't like it he can just peel it off. If he does and thinks he'd rather have line-x then he can spend the money for it.

Two guys on here have put bedliner on their rocker panels and flairs... but hell if I can find the link.
It was a pretty long one too
One guy with a speedway blue double cab and one with a silver... I was just looking at it yesterday!

There is a thread on the forums about a guy who line-x'd up to his door handles on the sides of his truck.

There is a guy around my town that has Rhino'd fenders, rocker panels, front and rear bumpers. I think it looks really good, and your truck being a dark color would be nice.

I think it will look like ass... while I will do bedliner on my bmpers and rails, I will clear bra my painted side trim... not some ghetto ugly bedlining of my body panels... same for the flares.

for one, my dad just spayed his own bed liner in on his 1st gen using krylon bed liner spray. it looks great, is easy to do, and is very cheap. to do his entire bed it took 4 can and cost around $40. he had linex on his old truck (2003 f250 diesel) and that cost $300 dollars. i don't know how much money you wanna spend but when u get linex your paying for the name. also i have a friend that just bed linered his whole bottom panel. he has a white ranger and it looks great on his truck.
