Recall Notice

Got a recall notice from Toyota in the mail today. It applies to certain 2008 through 2011 Tacoma's and some other models) that came equipped with TRD accessory wheels AND Toyota-recommended light truck tires. The effected Tacoma tires are "LT 265/70R16". The notice said the fix will take about 20 minutes.

 

got the same thing. i tossed it out. i got new tires and had the TPMS reset when i got them. they are just going to re calibrate the sensors from what could understand of the spanish only letter they sent me, lol

 

According to this article, the recall work should be non-invasive. May be as simple as checking the tire pressures are right, then holding down that button under the dash...
