    Agreed.

And about the Aluminum vs. Cast Iron block thing....Both are very strong blocks. If Aluminum is bad for boosted apps., someone better call the Italians, and Germans to let them know...

My son's buddy has an 05 or 06, 4.0 with 380,000+ it's serviced regularly, plugs 3 times, oil and air, never touched the trany and drives it like he stole it, I traded my 03, 3.4 after doing the timing belt, but a 13, 4.0 and don't plan on looking back , on another note, why In the world would anyone by a full size Chevy, ford or dodge half ton, after test driving a tundra? They are not mechanics and not very bright in my book, my brothers 04 tundra had 285,000 trouble free miles. And he bought a F 150 platinum, what a dumb ass, ford did put in a brand new trany at 34,000 under warranty! Who the hell wants too have too use there warranty?

I agree, you can't beat Toyota for high miles, but I'm sure those that are getting new frames are glad that they have a warranty to use.

Out of all the F150's sold, I'm sure a percentage of them need a tranny at 34,000 miles. I wonder how that repair compares to waiting 4 months for a frame driving a rental car instead of a truck? I wonder how many follow ups are required after a new tranny is put in when compared to having an entire new frame replaced.
Has the Ford tranny replacement requirement at 34,000 miles gone on for 20 years like the Tacoma frame issue?
