Projector headlights, pros and cons?

Just looking for any opinions and experiences, good and bad, regarding projector headlights, their installation, legality, and performance.

I am assuming you are talking about the ebay aftermarket projector headlamps you can buy. As long as they are DOT approved then they are legal. My personal experience with the aftermarket projector headlamps is the projector is subpar at best and they tend to leak.

Check this thread out, it shows some options when it comes to lighting then you can post back about which type of lights you have a question about. The blanket question about projectors doesn't really mean anything since there are different options with different results.

If you're going to go for a projector, the retrofit stock headlights will give you the best results but you either need to tear apart your own headlights or pay someone to do it for you. It's not overly cheap and there are still a couple installation options with varying degrees of difficultly. The plug and play kits have mixed reviews. I don't have one so I'm not going to comment on them but you can search yourself and find plenty of reviews.
