Doublecab owners just back windowds down?

That noise thats vibrates your ear drums is horrible and you cant just reach back and open the slider. Sometimes i dont want wind in my face would just like to air out the truck i know just to crack the front windows...

 

And the problem is?

Just venting? ...or looking for solutions?
I'd imagine you can find an aftermarket kit to motorize the window.
... I'd think.

 

just noticed it today when a buddy farted and smelled just horrible and i hit the back window buttons never said it was a problem. I didnt ask for help.

 

why not just lower a couple windows down and inch so you don't get the vibration? If the wind bothers you get inchannel visors.

I know what you are talking about. I just put the EGR vent visors on mine and it doesn't do it anymore.

I know what your talking about. You get a huffing or pulsing of air in the truck. It only does it when you lower the windows at higher speeds. Mine does the same thing. If you jsut slightly crack one of your front windows it will stop.

 

during the summer I lower all the windows down and the cab is as calm as can be-even on the freeway. Now if you don't open the back windows there is nowhere for the air to go so it creates a vortex in the cab.

 

Gee, this drives me nuts too. I've had 8 ear surgeries and the vibration of the air is real annoying (not the noise, the actual tickle of my eardrum moving around).

I can't say I've had this in every vehicle I've owned or driven - a design flaw?

Yes, I know it's an easy fix. That's why I haven't started a thread on it.

I refer to it as the chopper effect. It occurs when I crack one rear window, or slide open my sunroof with all other windows closed. My friend's Jeep Liberty does the same thing with 1 rear window cracked open.
