So no local shop has presses ? or they dont want to do this?

I can probably put complete hub together and press them then ship as one part. Are you interested ?

Well I have been calling around with no luck. I called a NAPA today and they said no but did tell be about a place about 30 minutes away. I called them and he said he might be able to do it. He said he did a 2003 4Runner a few years ago and I said its probably the same. He said $75 as well. I am hoping thats for both side but I forgot to ask. He also is only open during the week so I would have to get out of work which is very hard for me.

What would be the cost if I had you send it already pressed? I would defenitly be interest. I would have to get new bolts then as well.

    Thanks!

I would rather try to keep the costs down but dont want the el-cheapo parts either. I dont care if they are aftermarket though.

    Thanks!!

Ok so I put down the complete list of parts if somebody wants to replace everythign that supposed to be replaced when doing wheel bearing.

Description Price per item HUB SUB-ASSY, FRONT AXLE, LH 200.87 BOLT, HUB (FOR FRONT AXLE LH) 4.15 SEAL, OIL (FOR FRONT AXLE HUB LH) 4wd 42.42 NUT (FOR FRONT AXLE SHAFT LH) 4wd 3.91 CAP, FRONT AXLE HUB GREASE, LH 18.66 CAP, FRONT WHEEL ADJUSTING LOCK, LH 3.95 BEARING ASSY, FRONT AXLE W/ABS ROTOR LH 176.14 4x BOLT, W/WASHER 2.17 Front suspension - Brake components - Bearing - O-ring
    O-ring Back - 4 wheel drive 2005 – 2011 4.8 OEM Toyota PIN Cotter 0.83

So it looks like total cost for a swap parts would be $464.61

I got Toyota prices from their parts website. I am sure it gets lower in the store itself.

Ouch! Toyota of Dallas has the hub listed at $146 the bearing at $114 & the seal that goes in between for $10. I don't think I need anything else except maybe the seal that goes behind the knuckle. I heard you could reuse the o-ring. Oh & the 4 bolts if I am having someone else press it for me.

Local Monroe shop quoted me $419 to do the job but that was $271 for the parts. Probably just bearing & seals.

I know , i calculated if ordering from Toyota Dallas it would be $330 for parts. (complete)

And minimum - would be $150 (bearing two seals and O ring) per side .
Although I am not going with whatever crappy bearings are there originaly so probably gonna cost me $170 per side

Sounds like Monroe is good deal I would jump on it. Me... I will be doing it myself:D

So your going with aftermarket bearings fir yours? So do you need a different bear g if you have ABS? I was looking on autoPartswharehouse.com & they have one for like $73 then an ABS one for $130?

I am getting ready to buy the parts to do my wheel bearing, does anyone know if I need a specific bearing for ABS? I see online there are some that dont say anything about ABS & others that say w/ABS rotor?? I thought all the Tacoma's had ABS? I dont want to buy the wrong part.
    Thanks!
