Tire pressure?

i was filling my x runner tire today and was using the crappy stick tire gauge to measure the pressure. The thing is all of them was 60 psi because i used another gauge that toyota gave the dial one. Is it bad if it was 60 psi?I didnt drive around thank god. The tire are the stock x runner 18 in rims.

Anyone can suggest a good tire gauge that is accurate and doesnt cost that much?

i don't think it's too bad, as long as they werent driven on...

I have an accu guage ( I think that's what it's called )

it's digital and really accurate, not too expensive... like 15 or 20 bucks and extremely durrable.. I don't hesitate to toss it in with my tools when i'm off roading

Considering your tire sidewall says either 50psi(stock dunlops) max or 35 psi max (many p-metric) , depending load range, I dont think i'd want to hit the freeway at 60psi.

Just a side thought here though on higher load range, any new tires tire might be load range D or even E ....if a person asked for them, they have more plies and can hold more psi. The rims' max pressure then becomes the limit and ive never seen psi on a rim only load max in weight, basicly whichever is lower, the extra plies are more durable offroad , but the higher psi capability is not needed on a tacoma.
