drivers side lean...

    so my buddy took my truck into his shop a couple months ago and installed my 5100's. when he was done he gave me a 1/4 inch spacer that he said he took off the drivers side... we were both clueless as to why it was on there... untill about 3 minutes ago when i saw it offered on toytech.... whats the deal with this spacer? ive been driving around with out it and dont notice anything?
