Talking New and Improved!

Def upgrade from the ol 2004 4 banger. 2008 TRD Sport with 65k miles on it. So pumped to have the extra room and join the 2nd gen crew! Will be removing front mudflaps, debadging, tinting tails, and removing secondary air filter sometime this week

Great looking truck , I just got one like it on May 5th , removed secondary filter, BHLM , debadged , painted rear bages , seatbelt chime mod , fog light on anytime mod, and disabled the TPMS light. Good Luck

For removing the secondary air filter did you take the whole assembly off the truck and drill out the rivets? Or did you do the jhodge method and just rip it out? Lol I'm not sure whether he left the assembly on the truck or not while taking it out?

All that I did was unsnap the original air filter housing and pulled it back out of the way and made a small cut into the 2nd fliter and pulled it right out . All of the filter and the surrounding bracket with the rivets came right out with it very easy.
