You probably already know this, but for anyone paying $$$ for Black Talons, the Ranger SXT is an improved black talon, basically Talon Gen 2 without the black coating (which doesn't do anything). You can get them for 50 cents a round:

    http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=470924

Winchester is offloading their stock of SXT in favor of the current Ranger T-series, which is an updated talon/sxt design, basically Talon Gen 3.

Buy what you want, but you're basically running ammo that's 10 years old and two generations behind. Hope you're not paying a premium for it.

I hear you. I used to live in Ontario near Welland. I loved Canada, but it's too much a social state now......I hope to hell we don't go that way and looks like we will.

Near Welland... hah! You are supposed to say the falls...No one admits to living in or near Welland.

    I still have 4 boxes of Black Talons, 3 in .40 S&W, and 1 in 9 mm.

Our CCW instructor strongly advised the we do NOT use them in a self defense weapon, as personal injury lawyers will have a field day with that in the courtroom.

They're too expensive to use for target shooting, so I guess I'l just keep them as colector items.

My CCW instructor said to use hollow points, since they won't go through the BG and the wall and the other people behind the wall.... Since they will stop in the intended target.

Nice location, is that just for when you aren't CCW on your person?

I've been wondering whether a Kel-Tec Sub-2000, folded, would fit into the storage compartment under the rear seats of an access cab.

I've always carried whatever ammo the local police/sheriffs carry in their weapons. People have always made a good argument for that being a fair round to carry. Can't be made out to be an overzealous blood thirsty animal that way.

That's nice! What does it shoot, a .223. Can't own those here unless you like tight living spaces!

It's shoots .223 now but it has quick caliber change feature.
I could switch to .308 setup under 1 min if I need heavy fire power.:)

Sorry to hear that man... only in America.
