Aplogies to the OP for the slight Hijack but LRGRNR is there a thread or any info on the truck in the background? I was considering mounting my spare in a similar manner. Thanks

My 6" Fabtech with 33"s!!! I didn't want to deal with rubbing issues and figured a little less rubber = a little less gas and braking!!!!

I'm putting 33"s under it next time! My 35"s are shit on the trail. Look good, perform great, but scrub like shit.

I was thinking of going to 35's with my next set.....but there isn't any reason too in my opinion. I would like a bigger tire but i'll stick with 33's.
I havent had any problems at all so I don't want to cause any.

Has anybody said they look too small for your truck? The only reason I'm going to a 33" is for performance. I need something I can tuck more and a 35" just doesn't cut it.

No. In pics in might look that way but in person it looks way different. I'm sure alot of people think there truck looks better in person than in pics. Everybody I run into says the 33"s look perfect.

    Thank you! Appreciate it.

I can go anywhere in our Oregon mountains and wheel , rocks, ruts, all kind of shit and it never rubs. It works great. Gonna stick with 33's.

From what i'm hearing from owners with 35's, quite a few are downsizing to 33's. I just didnt want to cut and grind shit for an inch and a half more rubber![/QUOTE]

Yeah dude they look big on it too especially being all beefy, they dont look like a normal 33 on 6" lift that ive seen haha

I needed that extra for some of the trails out here due to their minimum tire size allowed is a 35", but it has recently been revised to 33". So, whenever these wear out (67,000 miles on the set we have on our FJC and are in GREAT condition) I'll get the same tire or General Grabbers in a 33".

I agree, they're definitely worth the extra dough. How're those Parnelli Jones' treating you?

VERY GOOD! Best tire I have ever had. There kickass in every thing i've thrown at em! Street wear is amazing and they ride great. Not very noisy either. I'll either get a new set or go Dynapro MT's cuz I can get the Dynapro's for about $775-$800 for 33"s.

The PJ's were - buy 3 get one free with free shipping from DesertRat almost 4 years ago!!! I still got a ways to go on them too.

Yeah. I haven't seen anyone around my parts running them and I like to have different shit than anyone else and after some research, I'm glad i bought em. I've ran so many different tires in my life and these have been the best.

    From http://www.offroaders.com/tech/AT-MT-Tires/parnelli-jones-dirt-grip.htm

Parnelli Jone Dirt Grip All-Terrain Tire

I would actually change the Snow and Mud to 4 stars though.

I got a set of Fierce Attitude M/Ts for the FJ the WEEK they hit the US tire market and still have them. I put some on my Tacoma and now I see people all over town with the damn things... it pisses me off!
