I seem to be getting around 28,000-28,500 with current rebates on a 2009 DC LB 4x4. Is that pretty common? MSRP is around 32. I was also quoted around 27K for a DC SB which stickers around 30K. This is no trade...yet.

I emailed the dealer back asking why is the LB 2K more, but only wiling to knock 1K off to sell. To be honest, I wasn't expecting 4K off sticker on a new toyota...I also wasn't expecting a 32K sticker price either.

I would be surprised. You can get the invoice price through www.kbb.com

Toyota has even jumped on the low/no interest bandwagon.

if it makes you feel any better, the 0% was for 36 months and you'd have to have awesome credit to qualify

I'm kinda shocked they're offering rebates or 0% already. Here in Canada they have no sweeteners on the '09's yet.

awsome credit , no problem but i have a feeling it is a little too soon to get steep discounts off of the 09s much less to get both 0% and the incentive.

as long as you think it's a good deal, i say go for it

well, just went to the toyota dealer where I got my 4runner from. first they tried to screw me on the trade, and then on the sale. MSRP of 30,800. First told me they couldn't sell at invoice, then they werent happy about selling at invoice. He said 2500 markup is the most they can move on. I asked how the identical truck is selling for 1000 less at another dealership. He played the fake n umber game. I said I guess I will buy there then and left.

I can't believe that they dont want to sell cars. I shoulda bought the car at the first dealer had I known they were gonna try to screw me on a trade and the sale.
