ok so here's what I got so far...I cleaned them with wax/grease remover. scuffed them up with soapy water and a grey scuff pad (approx 800 grit). cleaned them again. applied 3 light coats of VHT Nightshades. I am now letting them dry over night. Here's what they look like right now. I still need to wet sand, buff and polish. Oh and for some reason the camera flash makes them look lighter.....they are in fact a bit darker in person.

I love the look, but how is it with the lights on and when you press the brake? Does it shine through very well?

Also, my '09 has the LED tail lights - I wonder how they would fair with something like this (the truck is black so it would look sick!)

Would work fine.....the light shines through without any problem (even in the day) and LED's are brighter so would work even better

Curious to why you have different screen name for TN? I would forget and type in the wrong one each time.

:D I used to use the type of car I drove as a screen name......but then I started changing cars too often and my screennames were all screwed up so I decided to just use 82josh on most forums now.,.....I know that wont change :)
