2008 4X4 TRD Price check

I've negotiated a price of $24k out the door on a 2008 4x4 DC trd offroad that is a dealer demo with 5k miles on it, is this reasonable ? Also, is there a way to find out how long the car has been in the dealer's possesion ?

I'm itching to pull the trigger on my first truck but want to be sure I'm not getting taken.

personally i would press them for a little more seeing as it's a demo

Hey I saw your post on this over at Sig and got too busy to reply. I just got an 09 double cab long bed 4x4 with TRD, Tow package, the upgraded stereo and heated leather seats for $28 so I would push them for a better deal on an 08 floor model. But then, if you love it then buy it and enjoy it and don't worry about it. Ya know?

Thanks guys, I ignored his calls yesterday and sent his offer to another local dealer, hopefully with all the news of dealers going bankrupt and sales declining year over year, if I can't squueze the price, maybe I can add some accessories.

FWIW.... I got a 08 DC 4*4 Sport TRD for 26k OTD..... 12 miles on her....

But that is in So Cal and they like to rip you down here. Good luck, with the economy the way it is, your in the driver seat. Put the squeeze on em, FYI.... Demo Trucks have probably been thrashed around quite a bit.

In northern IL. A new 08 you can get $6000.00 off MSRP, $3000.00 from Toyota $3000.00 dealer. That Carmax sells new cars. The 2nd link is full MSRP with out the discounts. Don'd know how much your dealer is taking off MSRP but it should be more than 6K

3K is only for prerunners.
2K for v6 models.
1K for i4 models.

That one carmax link is for a TRD rugged trail with the black over fenders and the black wheels, they can't give those away here in Atlanta .....but i do appreciate you taking the time to add the link. I countered with 24 OTd including step rails and a bed extender.....

I forgot Toyota also gave me a extra $1000 incentive beside the 2k from my 1999 Tacoma buyback. My sticker was $28885 Carmax price with rebate was $24105 then I got the extra 1k off that. My local dealer was going to beat them by $400 but they could not find a 6spd in black only a white or silver.

There is a dealer in Sacramento, CA that has advertised new 08 DC SB AUTO 4x4 TRD Sports for $23988 (includes $2000 rebate) this weekend. MSRP is $30569. And they have two of them!

I bought from them a 2 months ago and could have saved some $$$ if I waited.
