has anyone installed the 4.56 gears on 2011 with 6-inch lift?and did your mileage or power come back from the swap.

I would like to know this too. With my OME kit 886 with a ARB bumper and winch and running 285-75-16/s on the freeway I get about 16-17 and in the city it is about 14.

Im hopeing to do eather 430s or 456s in the future. I like running 285s. 373s are just to high for my liking.

just a word of caution for folks, spend some time on your favorite gear calculators and try to get back as close to stock as you can, unless your truck is primarily for off road.

i went too tall with my last 4x4 (4.56:1 and 32" BFG MTs) on a Cherokee Classic (XJ)

this was the primary factor in my mileage dropping way off on the highway (other factors like weight, mud tires, blah blah blah) but the tall gears were a dream on the trail.... i got to the point of poor returns for the $$ pretty quick since going to 35" tires would have called for a front axle swap (that particular vehicle has a D35 front axle weak point, and the rear axles weren't all that great, but mine had the 8.25)

doing gears gets real expensive, but it's worth it if you get it set up right, IMHO

the only people that are going to have a gear for a 2011 is yukon.they said the 4.56 would be ready in a month or so.im not going to run 35s so this is the only option for a 2011 with the smaller clamshell in the new front diff.
