08 DCSB OR Wiring help

I bought this truck used, and I'm trying to find out what this switch is for its vampire tapped into the indicated. Just for clarification, its the White/blue wire that the switch is tapped into.



Any help?

 

Do you have the JBL system? Pos the amp?! (see JBL wireing diagram below) Still looking at the wiring diagrams but that would be my "guess".

 

Nope aftermarket. When I looked at the VIN, it was the stock stereo. But that does look like the wire tho.

 

Damn sorry... I'm going to post the repair manuals in a few, your free to look through them, I didnt really see anything else but it was a quick check. Sorry- best of luck though!!

 

Any help would be great, what I'm thinking is that its a remote bypass for an amp that might have been in there. but why bypass there? the other side of the switch does go to a relay under the hood. I'm just going to rip it out. Thanks for the help though.
