    I only read the first two pages, and although some comments were pretty damn funny, I realize none were helpful...

    If you like the way it sounds unrestricted, try to mimic that with a muffler that is noticeably oversized. Get the stock muffler off something that has 3" inlet and outlet, and I bet it wouldn't hinder those gases hardly at all, and should sound slightly tamed. But still very "free"... Also muffler shops usually recycle or junk the stuff they cut off customer vehicles when installing big performance exhausts. .

    Just a thought.
