Well this past weekened I picked up a ARB bumper, and some how got some sliders for 50$!!!

Ok, so I get there and it has some scratches and a little rust eh no big deal, I like it. Came with all new hardware.

So we get back to my friends house, we get to work right away!!

A lot easier then I anticipated including lunch we had 3 hours tied up in it! Pics to come tomorrow!

The only thing we did not do was drill the 4 holes and put the bolts in, I did not have the correct drill bit so I drove 500 miles with out them wasnt to worried.

So on the 500 mile drive back I have decided I LOVE my bumper!!!! When we put it on it sagged 1/8 of an inch. After the trip and over night it dropped to 1/2 inch, not to bad.

I have noticed the front end is a little different obviously but not as bad as I thought. The 4 bolts that I put in today to help secure it in its location does help as well.

One of the pain the butts was the stupid clip in square nuts for the skid plate hate those things.

So 3 hours was good! Note we did have 4 people and two air lines running lol

I dont like the way the bumper is away from the fenders it looks to far but I understand why so not to worried about it.

The rock sliders are being sand blasted and painted black, they will be welded on. Pics to come tomorrow also, reimaging my computer doing this on ipad lol.

    So questions time!!

As long as I weld the sliders on I can use the hi jack on them correct?
Whats the best winch to put in the arb?
Whats the best driving/fog lights for the arb (does not have the fog lights in them ill have to mount them)

So my comments on the bumper,

LOVE it, not as heavy and bulky as I thought, easy install, looks sexy!!!! Have not noticed a big drop in mpg.

Dislikes, instructions hard to follow for me, I might be dumb.

Anyway pics might be up tonight not sure.

Just leave enough clearance between the legs of the sliders as well as the main part and the pinch weld or it will flex as your frame flexes or as you jack off your sliders and will knock the pinch weld.

So just space them down a bit

    As seen here.
