    A few bolts are different.
Both new wheel bearings are going in my truck Monday. I have put it off until 98,000. It can not wait any longer. Just taking them to get pressed, all other work will be done with hand tools in my garage.

You might be able to get away with just the bearing, but I am not going to wait to see if my hub is Fubar from the bearing blowing up then have to order a hub and wait for it to show up.

Lurry's truck doesn't see nearly as much salt as ours do. Those guys only see snow if it's a freak storm :D

So which is it a 35mm or 36mm for the nut?

I have an assorted set of torques, but I will need to check that they go up to tonight.

Yeah that needs to be fixed. Proper one is 35 mm

Can it be done with size bigger yes but it should not be unless there is absolutely no 35 mm socket in 50 miles radius.
BTW 35 mm is hard to find and it took me some time to get it. I also bought 36 mm just to find out its too big. :(:)

    Tell you monday.

It's a 6point socket so I think I can make it work. I will see if there is a 35mm at napa though. I sure as hell dont want to round off the nut.

If you already have 36 mm you can use it as Larry said it will work, you just have to make sure you keep socket properly seated when torquing the nut. I doubt it can round off the nut.

Added more info regarding wheel bearing removal and install in the OP.

35mm, 36mm, 1-3/8" will work (from what others have said) but none are what Toyota recommends or uses. I have listed a link to their part and where to purchase it if you choose to go that route.

I feel like toyota has a special $200+ tool for every part of the vehicle.

Their tool is only $33....and a good impact socket is close to that. I can get a cheap one for $11 wich is what I'm going to do.

On my old Ford you actually had to buy a special tool to press in the rear disc brakes to swap the pads. Those bums rounded the backside so no C-clamp or any other tool I tried to rig up would work. Ford wanted $800 to do all 4 brakes  I went to a buddys shop and borrowed his tool.

Don't get the seals from NAPA.....per some TTORA guys they stick out further and wear much quicker.
