I hate to say farewell to everyone here... But I've decided to trade the Tacoma in on a larger truck. Not that I didn't like the Taco, quite honestly, I loved it... just time for something larger and couldn't pass up the deal.

FWIW, I appreciate all the help this forum has provided over the years, the friendships I've made, and I hope that I was able to help someone out in the process.

For those that I've pissed off - or those that pissed me off - I'm letting bygones be bygones.

To Neubs (Dave), PresidentRedz, silver07taco, Colinb17, and all the other Maryland based Tacoma drivers... Thanks for the good times off-roading up at Greenridge and running during Snowmageddon 2009-2010.

For those that are interested in what I got for my slightly modified 2006 Taco TRD Sport with 13330k miles, mind you - it was paid off; they gave me 13,000 even.

Any if anyone is interested in what I picked up... Red 2011 GMC Sierra SLE Z71 almost identical to this one w/ a 5.3L V8:

And a special thanks to all those that supported me during my 2nd deployment to the sandbox... and to all those that have served and still do.

    Semper Fi.

(P.S. - I'll likely cancel my account during the next week or so - so if anyone wants to trade contact info, PM me.)

Yea, if i was to get a larger truck it would either be that or a new tundra. the fuel mileage aint bad really and they are very nicely built trucks. atleast they have a metal floor in the bed lol. good luck with the new ride, and thank you for your service.

    Build thread in sig...
We'll be sad to see you go Don! Haven't talked to you in a while, but I've been meaning to tahank you again for that volenteer driving thread during the blizzards two years ago, I volenteered again this past winter, and while there wasn't nearly the snow, i still got two calls.

Good choice on the new truck too. i was never crazy about GMC trucks in general untill my uncle got a red 4x4 sierra about 4 years ago. powerful truck with great street manners. tows like crazy too.

Unless your number has changed, i know a few of us can still get a hold of you, so we;ll let you know when the next mod day is and maybe you'll bring that big red beauty out to say hi

and hows about one last pic of that nice mustang of yours? :D
