Does anyone have any pics of what the bed, specifically bed rails, looks like without the liner on it? I'm thinking about adding a head ache rack but am too lazy to take all the liners off to see how to mount it.

The under side of the bed rails is what I need to see, not the under bed part. From Monroe area, you?

    You have an 07...

The truck doesn't have a liner in it. It's a composite bed.

But yeah, Lay underneath the truck. You probably should mount the rack to the frame through the bed.

I guess Toyota needs to explain "composite bed" a little better in their commercials, dealer brochures, and train their salesman to explain it better.

I understood it too.... But the increasing number of people that think the composite bed is a liner than can be removed simply amazes me. People just don't seem to understand the whole bed is one piece of injection molded fiberglass-like material and there is no removing it unless you don't want a bed.

So either people are stupid, or it's not being explained properly.... I'll leave that decision to someone else!

Yeah, and that's the problem... I think they need to say something like "It's one big hunk o'plastic". That way I think people would understand then that there isn't anything to remove, there is no metal under the composite, etc.

    Bed mat, seat cover.
My salesperson explained the bed material as a composit, which will never rust. Impressed me as the bed in my 87 Nissan rusted through during the ten years I had it.

I had a '90 Nissan and the bed rusted through in almost a dozen places. Was a good truck other wise - had it 16 years. My salesman explained what the composite bed was. I like the theory behind it, if nothing else, since I was not looking forward to another rusty truck bed.
