apparently i only have the gold plan warranty so it doesn't cover the one thing i need. I wasted 120 for the dealer to tell me that i need a new spiral cable to turn my airbag light off. if i paid for them to do it, they would charge 600 bucks
does anyone know where i can get this?

I couldn't find one listed at autozone, napaonline, or advance auto.

Disconnect neg battery cable, wait 15 min, remove screws on back of steering wheel, remove airbag and disconnect it's cable, disconnect/remove spiral cable/clockspring, reverse order for install(minus wait time).
Do not let anything touch the bare connector on the airbag. Best to store it away/outside the truck.

it is as easy as skytower says. only thing he forgot was that you need to remove steering wheel (19mm i think) and you may need a wheel puller for that. mine popped right off without it. make sure when you put it back on that it is straight relative to the wheels.
