I don't care about the carbon, but the exterior looks bitchen.

Thanks for the comments. I may go over a couple of tricky spots with the 3m 94 primer. Just to make sure things stay completely adhered, even on those hot days.

It's a pioneer X710bt. I'm it putting up for sale this month for $400 and replacing it with this year's model. Great unit with built in Nav, usb, sd, bluetooh, etc. The smaller unit by the shifter is the display screen for the JBL MS8 processor.

Yep, I used a few light coats of spray tint. Blends better with the black roof, and still lights up red when brake pedal is depressed.

Great job dude. Avoiding the venting portions to the left/right of the head unit was a very good call.. I've taken 3 stabs at them so far and even w/ primer and multiple pieces/seams they still separate when I run the heater:(

Does anyone know if they make a kit that you can just stick on over the stock stuff? Like a plastic dash/consol kit that looks carbon. Or is the 3m stuff the only way to do it?

Use a hair drier and you can heat it up and bend it on those corners

Why did you post this, it looks so nice i feel obligated to do it in mine. It will go awesome with my gray/black theme. Thankfully my co-worker used to do vinyl for a living and he can custom make me any vinyl and install it for the expense of a small bag of weed :D
