I contacted my local dealership and they told me it won't be a problem at all to get the "fix" whatever that may be. I'm assuming they're going to either AAL or just put in a new leaf? They're saying the TSB is for a "harsh" ride in the back. Anyone know the typical fix they are doing?

    2009 Tacoma SR5 4X V6 with 15k miles ..

They said it would all be covered by warranty.

This might be old news but I'm relatively new to the forums and have been reading a ton to catch up ..

check the tsb udate dec. 2010 for your truck model. It stated leaf springs (I just got it done, and was replaced with a 4 leaf ) and front and rear shocks.

I have a 2008 access cab, non TRD. they ordered the parts and I gave them the tsb to verify.

My truck rides great again :)

Just had a 2010 done 2 days ago and they included rear shocks along with the 4 leaf pack and front end alignment.

Interesting. The truck that I spoke was a SR5 package. They told me at the time that the TSB had been updated to include new shocks. Either way we ended up getting the new shocks with the mod. I figure anytime I can something free from the dealer its a good day.

Welcome to the site. I would do some more research so that you know exactly what you're getting and what to expect after the work is done. It seems from you're original post that you want it done just to do it without reason.

    Thanks guys, all issues resolved.

Dealer will be installing the 4 leaf pack Monday and then the guys who installed the Bilstein's at .85 for me will put it at 1.75 and realign for free :D (probably because they cooked a couple hours of my time when they installed the spacer upside down the first time ... luckily I/we caught it)

    thanks for the help
